The Year 6 boys at Edgecliff Preparatory School recently shared in a day filled with plots, twists, complications, characters and resolutions as they embarked on writing a book in a day with the Year 6 girls from St Catherine’s School.
As part of the Kids’ Cancer Project the schools joined forces for this challenge as part of our co-education programme. Along with fund-raising, the students had to work together to write and illustrate their stories all within the day. In between writing sessions, they had recess and a BBQ lunch, whilst sharing their narratives together. Congratulations to all the girls and boys for successfully completing their texts and raising over $26,000 for this great cause.
