On Tuesday the Edgecliff Prep boys and staff enjoyed a mufti day and a Gözleme Meal Deal to help raise money for the survivors of Turkish and Syrian earthquakes.
While the School playground was filled with the delicious smells of gözleme cooking, the boys learnt about the charity being supported, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), also known as Doctors Without Borders. MSF provided medical assistance to people affected by the earthquakes and Mrs Scarlett Gill, mother of Charlie Gill in Year 5, shared her experiences working for this incredible charity. Mrs Gill, who is a clinical psychologist, worked in Türkiye as a mental health activity manager. Her presentation was incredibly inspiring to the boys and staff!
