We farewell our outgoing Director of Music, Mr Martin Smith, after his extraordinary tenure (2002 – 2021).
So many words encapsulate Martin, his leadership and his legacy. They include visionary, dedication, drive, kindness, excellence, professionalism, generosity and a gentleman. From all of us lucky enough to have worked alongside you or to have learnt from you as a pupil at St Ives, it has been an absolute privilege. You are an inspiration to everyone and will be so very sadly missed.
