Congratulations to Thanh Tran (VI SGN/BPB), who won the Lawrence Campbell Oratory Competition at Cranbrook School on Friday 24 April.
An impressive achievement and the first time Grammar have claimed this prestigious trophy since 2010. Thanh delivered a compelling speech on “Definitions belong to the definers not the defined”, thoughtfully exploring how cultures are defined, reshaped and manipulated on Western terms.
