Grammar hosts the inaugural interschool Stock Pitch Competition

The Sydney Grammar School Business Society committee - John Wang, Henry Xu (VI), Jason Zhu He and Ethan Wong (V) - were responsible for organising teams from Cranbrook, Ascham and Sydney Boys High School to compete in a Stock Pitch competition in the Edmund Barton Room on Thursday June 6. In front of a panel of four judges, the teams presented their arguements on which stock they would buy or sell. Winners on the night were Grammar's Netflix team [Oscar Mason (V) and Tristan Johnson (VI)] who convinced the judges they should short the stock given the saturated streaming market and competition from Disney whose subscription price was half that of Netflix.
