Alex Greenwich (OS) speaks to the Assembly

Alex Greenwich (OS 1998), the independent Member for Sydney, spoke to the School Assembly on Friday 21 November.

In his introduction Dr Malpass acknowledged Alex’s commitment to a liveable, sustainable and progressive Sydney for all. Alex spoke about how debating at school prepared him to listen and how listening helped with winning support for marriage equality and decriminalising abortion in NSW. He was treated to a performance by the Combined Choirs: School Choir, Cantorum and Cambiata and the School Orchestra conducted by Mr Howard performing Blow, Blow Thou Winter Winds and Good Ale from When Icicles Hang by John Rutter.
