On Wednesday 11 September, the Edgecliff Preparatory School Year 5 boys enjoyed a co-education day with the Year 5 Ascham girls, where they learnt about public speaking.
Together the boys and girls explored ways to make their speeches engaging, how to structure a speech and presenting techniques. In small groups they shared ideas and wrote speeches with several students delivering their pieces to the cohort. To finish the day the boys and girls enjoyed a BBQ lunch and games in the beautiful Ascham grounds.
