On Thursday, 6 November, the Year 5 boys enjoyed another happy co‑educational day alongside 101 girls who visited from St Catherine’s School.
The morning began with an inspiring art workshop led by artist Lucy Barker. Renowned for her installation work using found objects and recycled materials, Lucy has exhibited twelve times in 'Sculpture by the Sea'.
Students worked collaboratively with natural materials, such as leaves, to create imaginative “leaf‑birds.” These artworks became part of a shared storyboard, allowing the children to weave their creations into a collective narrative.
