On Wednesday 12 February, the School Hall was a hive of activity as we welcomed the Year 4 Ascham girls to join our Year 4 classes in a co-education art workshop.
The students were split into small groups and tasked with creating a “Sham Sushi Shop”. All items for the shop were made from recycled items, which helped to raise awareness of the large amount of plastic in our oceans and rubbish going to landfill. The boys and girls had a great time creating ‘delicious’ sushi pieces, menus and price tags, while learning about important environment issues.
