As part of Edgecliff’s 70th birthday celebrations, we were delighted to welcome St Ives for the inaugural Van Heuckelum Shield, bringing the two campuses together for a wonderful morning of summer sport.
Our 1sts and 2nds Basketball, 1st Cricket an
d 1st Tennis teams competed across the morning, with the boys displaying great skill, determination and sportsmanship throughout their matches.
Congratulations to St Ives, who were named the inaugural Van Heuckelum Shield champions for 2026. Well done also to all our Edgecliff boys who represented the School so proudly and contributed to such an enjoyable morning of competition.
The morning was a fitting addition to our 70th celebrations and the beginning of what we hope will become a much-loved sporting tradition between Edgecliff and St Ives.
