School days are the happiest days of our lives.
Where else do you get to see your friends almost every day, sitting together, laughing, and having a good time? Where else can you form positive relationships with caring teachers who you trust?
Where else do you get to see your friends almost every day and have set times where you can definitely all sit together, eating, laughing, and having a good time? Where else can you form positive relationships with caring teachers who you trust?
On Wednesday 21 May, we invited the Class of 2019, who are now about to finish Form VI, back to Edgecliff for our annual ‘Return to Edgecliff’ celebration. This special occasion is an opportunity, before the boys do their HSC Examinations, for them to reunite with the Edgecliff staff, past and present, to share their memories, and their aspirations and ambitions for the future. It was wonderful to witness the close bond that the boys still have with their Edgecliff teachers, and the confident and kind young men they have become. After a tasty afternoon tea, the Class of 2019 took a trip down memory lane, watching a video presentation and recalling their primary school years. They then recreated some Athletics Carnival experiences with games of ‘Tunnel Ball’ and Over Under’, and revisited recess and lunchtime games by playing handball until late into the afternoon.
