Reconciliation Week Assembly

Last week, we welcomed Susan Moylan-Coombs to share her experiences at our Reconciliation Week Assembly.

A significant event in both our School calendar and on a national scale, we heard from boys and staff who explained the importance of Reconciliation to Indigenous people, and to our country as a whole. It was also an opportunity to learn about shared histories and the relevance of the Indigenous flag. To further our understanding and empathy, we were delighted to have Susan Moylan-Coombs, the Australian broadcaster and community leader, talk to the boys about her story and being part of the Stolen Generation. In a moving and informative speech, Susan spoke about her journey and the resilience and courage she needed to become the inspiration she is today.
