The boys and teachers have been mesmerised watching two mural artists create an enormous painting of Carrington the Lion as it unfolded across metres of brick wall over the past week.
This wonderful mural was designed by our Art Master, Andrew Cranna, and funded by the Year 6 2020 boys and parents. Thank you for such a vibrant and stimulating legacy.
It is not often that you have the privilege of observing the process of creating art on this scale and the boys found it fascinating the way the artists transferred an image on their phones to the white brick wall.
This Lion exudes courage and determination and reflects the attributes we have all developed this year. We shall enjoy this gift for years to come.
