Organiser Red Earth provided a wonderful immersion experience for Grammar boys in Cape York. They were welcomed into private Indigenous homelands by the Traditional Owners and exposed to an authentic Indigenous way of life.
The boys have experienced the Wurrey Homelands with Uncle Bernie and Aunty Cheryl. They enjoyed getting to know the native plants and how they have been used over thousands of years, learning some of the language, eating traditional food, as well as gaining an understanding of contemporary life for the local community.
