Building, testing, and racing billy carts presented our Year 5 boys with an exhilarating opportunity to take on Earth’s natural forces and each other!

The boys jumped at the chance to build their own billy carts, using tools and hardware in order to build the perfect cart. The boys investigated the design process and the properties of different materials in crafting their own simple machines. The finale to the day saw a billy cart race between classes to see who was the fastest on the day. A great afternoon was had by all.
