At the beginning of the term, the boys had the opportunity to work with Dr Oliver Watts (OS 1994), our Artist in Residence.
Drawing inspiration from Henri Matisse's famous cut-outs, the boys explored papier collé, learning to "draw with scissors" as they created bold and colourful floral collages. Working alongside a practising artist encouraged creative experimentation and provided valuable insight into the artistic process. The resulting artworks were vibrant, imaginative and a wonderful showcase of the boys' creativity.
