During Term 1, the Edgecliff Prep boys worked with Sally Mayman, an artist known for her portrait and landscape photography, as well as alternative photographic processes, including cyanotypes.
Last week, Sally taught the boys the cyanotype printing process, and each boy made his own print by arranging objects on light-sensitive coated paper and then exposing it to the sun. The boys coated and developed their own prints in the Art Room’s temporary ‘dark room’.

They also collaborated in classes to make large-scale works on fabric, using their bodies as the main compositional elements in the works.
