2026 Chauvel Scholar

In selecting the recipient of the scholarship this year, Mr McPherson was assisted by Colonel Rich Bushby (OS 1992). Established in 1957, the Chauvel Scholarship is one of the School’s most prestigious internal awards, presented annually to a pupil in Forms V or VI with family ties to servicemen (especially Old Sydneians) or servicewomen, who are also doing well academically. General Sir Henry George Chauvel (known as “Harry”) attended Grammar from 1874-1880.
