Victor Steffensen is a writer, filmmaker, musician and consultant. He applies traditional knowledge in a contemporary context through creative, practical and artistic projects.
Victor is a descendant of the Tagalaka people from North Queensland and holds a Doctorate of Environmental Science and much of his work has been based on reviving traditional knowledge for community and environmental challenges. He is renowned for training and mentoring in Aboriginal fire management to both indigenous and non-indigenous groups.
